Defenders Action Fund Runs Ad Listing Questions For Mccloskey-Pombo Debate

Washington, D.C. – Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund has released a list of questions that should be posed to Rep. Richard Pombo in his debate tonight with Pete McCloskey and Tom Benigno.

Defenders Action Fund published the list of five questions in an ad taken out in the Tracy Press on Saturday. The questions deal with Pombo’s ties to special interests and charges by watchdog groups that he has violated House ethics rules and failed to pay taxes on foreign trips.

“Mr. Pombo has failed to adequately respond to many of these questions,” said Defenders Action Fund president Rodger Schlickeisen. “The debate sponsored by the Tracy Press tonight is finally an opportunity to question Mr. Pombo about his ties to special interests and questionable ethical dealings.”

The list of questions and a copy of the ad is attached.
